why act like it's every game? GB trucked DAL, we held em to 6 in the first half. We scored 7 and led at half.
I hear you but in trying to keep it simple and not debate myself over it all i say: this defense isn't nearly as dominant as the past 4 years but we basically have the same players. Only the coach played. So yeah, it's the DC.

Honestly we've got two weeks, fire his ass now, Wilks is terrible at defensive game plans and holy s**t did Johnson school him.

Imagine what Reid will do. He will probably guess our second half adjustments and already have a counter ready. LOL seriously tho Reid is a demon. Wilks and Kyle better be f'in ready.

in 2019 you can line up that front 4 and trash OLs, what's there to scheme
we can't do that with this front 4, we have a front 1 vs run, and a front 2 vs pass
guys aren't the same dude, how is AA the same as he was in 2019, he's had plantar fasciitis
so you put a guy who has bad wheels next to Hargrave who isn't a run defender, no surprise when you are getting blown off the LOS and Kinlaw isn't doing much imo

Yep. Fortunately the chiefs overall will be much easier to defend - Detroit has FAR more offensive talent. Play man and have Greenlaw beat the s**t out of Mahomes.

that's what I am thinking, on pass downs you got 1 guy to worry about in coverage

Put Ward on Rice and Warner on Kelce. Spy Mahomes. Game over

True but even from last year it's a drop off. But certainly guys are older. Def need to bring in fresh blood next year.

Kelce will eat Warner up 1v1. Mahomes will scramble around and toss 25 yard ducks to him all game.
He will need help.

The drop off is the D li e play that features the reigning DPOY. Wilks has managed to change Bosa from a cheat code into an above average ER. Was supposed to be a DB specialist, but made no difference there. It seems like he is being forced to run a scheme he isn't comfortable with and doesn't do as well with. If the team keeps him, which I expect them to do, they need to give him the freedom to run what he wants IMO.
