Right. Idk what's so hard about this. You have got to score. Give them some kind of lead. This idea that you are going to stop a Hall of Fame HC/QB combo for an entire game is ludicrous. The Bucs Super Bowl is not an example because the Bucs actually scored points.

This team wasn't impressive from Baltimore on.

They need shut down CB's, LB's, OL help, new kicker, among other things.

The defense couldnt get a stop for anything at the end. That's not coaching fantastically. At some point your defense has to be able to hold the line at the end of a game. Wilks kept calling overly aggressive and entirely predictable blitzes that left huge gaps in the defense.

The Giants didn't beat Brady and the Patriots twice because they had this world-beating offense. They got stops at the end of their games.

If you can't trust your defense to make a single stop at the end of a game, you don't really have a defense that can be relied upon.

The defence did enough to win.

They held the Chiefs to under 20 points in regulation and forced 2 turnovers.

The last 2 drives on offense where for go ahead scores....

There is no way to flip this loss to being on the offense.....the late game defensive collapses cost this team the Super Bowl...

Eh. Offense blew chances too, just more of them happened earlier in the game. CMC fumble and Williams penalties killed first two drives, for example. Get, say, 10 points there it's a different game.

Who will now be in consideration for greatest HC of all-time. Has won 3 SBs, will likely pass Shula in total Ws. Went from biggest choker to biggest clutch HC.

Yall are hilarious... it never changes.

The same was said about the 1st Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs....and the same was said in tha Rams loss in the Title game.

Folks want to blame the tired defense, that did it's job for most of the game against a HOF Caliber QB/Coach in Mahomes and Reid....

blame Tartt for that title game loss for that dropped int against the Rams, when we had many chances after that play to put the game away with our offense.

Instead folks get protective about Jimmy G and Kyle...and quickly want to blame the DC of the month, or other players.

Edit- hell many of the usuals here did the same for Alex Smith.... when he couldn't convert 3rd downs vs the Giants (hell the whole year he was like 1 or 2 for 13 on 3rd down conversions per game)... didn't complete one pass to a WR in that Giants loss.

IMHO Spags is the best DC in the league head and shoulders above others, he stopped every one.

You judge a defence on how they play when it matters, same with QBs. Jimmy played well for 3 quartes and folded (after getting hit in the head) in the 4th, no one remembers the 3 quarters, same goes for the defence, we all remember the Goal line stands in SB 19, this is bend not break, yet when you need a stop to win the game you break, you get another chance in OT and the same happens. Defence has failed when it mattered.

Kyle, yes he deserves some criticism, yet this time it was not his playcalling that costed us the game.

Chiefs held to 19 points in regulation, with 1 TD being off a fluke special teams blunder. If a football god offered you the Chiefs being limited to 19, before they game, you'd take it.

The 49ers offense was stuffed in the 3rd, and couldn't get into the endzone when it counted. I thought the defense would be the reason we lost, but it was really the offense.

So what, doesn't mean Kyle will improve
