It really sucks that we are stuck with this guy. With all the talent this D has and we have this.
Went from young, amped up coaches that got everyone fired up to an old curmudgeon sitting up in a booth and has only had a single year of calling Top 10 defense.

There's 2015-2016 level defensive lapses happening. Teams confidently marching it 80+ yards repeatedly and lightning this defense up with mediocre players.
strikes me as an arrogant a-hole who thinks he knows all because he been in the league for a while. shoulda hired a young up and comer like demeco and saleh were
Garbage
Horrible 1st half coach
I'm so annoyed by that play call. 3rd and short and he plays 10 yards off. 3rd and 10 with 16 seconds and he runs a f* blitz. Wtf did he think Vikings were going to do on that play? With our front line, there should be no reason to need extra pressure there.
Dude's driving a Ferrari and grinding the gears from 1st to 2nd. Back to back games where they're not prepared to play. Kyle even questioning his playcalling during his interview with Greg Papa.

Perfect analogy!!!
No excuse at all for that one.
He's awful. The calls are just terrible.
Anyone on staff qualified to take his DC position?
Written about Wilks after he was fired from the Cards.

But a defense that still had Chandler Jones, Patrick Peterson, Budda Baker and others rarely played up to its talent level. It finished last in the league against the run, collapsed every time the opponent threw a punch – see 45 straight points by the Chargers, the 40-14 loss to the Falcons, etc. – and by the end of the season couldn't tackle a running back if his feet were in quicksand.
