Did they play good against the cardinals only giving up 16 pts? How about the Rams or Giants? This D needs to fix itself

Who's defending Wilks? Are you just making it up for your arguments sake?

it was bend don't break, he talked about it coming into the year
we struggled on 3rds a lot
not wanting to give up the big play,
we were top 3 in points and yards coming in

you look at the big play, it was Ward having an INT go right thru him, that's not scheme, that's a pick, he just didn't make the play

this would have been more then 22 points if the offense was not marching down the field and give the Vikings long drives on offense.

This could have easily been low to mid 30s if they had shorter fields.

Defense was horrible to a questionable team

Reid and Mahomes carve up everyone.

And we didn't see this defense giving up 90 yard drives to Josh Dobbs and PJ Walker.

The worse call of the night is the 3rd and 16 16 seconds left and no timeouts and he.calls a blitz? Any completion and the half runs out and our front four should be enough. That cost us the game.

There is simply no defense for that call. NONE

Ward should have never been in that position because we shouldn't have been in 0 man coverage. We should of been dropping 8
Wilks 100% lost this game for us, I'm not going to go as far as he's "terrible" just yet but he sure was this game. Seems like I hardly see the wide 9 formation. Our great pass rush has taken a step back since he came in

Yeah blitzing with no safety help on that play was schematically sound 👍🏻

Ward was in great position, to pick the ball off, just make the play there to be made

Wilks has so far been a step down from Ryans.

That was a Hail Mary play equivalent before the half. What half wit D coordinator puts his players in that position in the first place. We need safeties deep because a stop ends the half.

If Bellichik was our HC, would Wilks still have a job tomorrow.?

They broke all night long. The stops they did get were mostly due to Minnesota miscues.

I've read a few posts in the gameday thread and other threads saying if you take away the fluke TD to end the half then it would have been 15 pts and that 22 pts should be enough anyway. Theoretically our offense should have put up at least 23 pts, but they didn't.

There definitely Wilks defenders and he's definitely my scapegoat right now. You cant sit there and tell me this D gives you the warm fuzzies like last year
Just leave the team already. The guy looks like he is reading a fking Reader's Digest with a fruit cup up in that booth
