f**k it, 2 first rounders and 2 second rounders for Surtain. If we make the D fool proof, perhaps a fool can run it.
We have WAY too much talent on this team for it to be wasted on such a chit DC.

Not a great night, especially that call at the end of the half, but they only gave up 22 points despite the offense turning the ball over 3 times. Hard to win when your QB keeps throwing it to the other team.

The defense gave up like 450 yards of offense. No way to spin that into a positive. Our offense had 3 possessions in the 1st half because the defense couldn't get off the field. The Vikings had over 70% 3rd down rate.

Well we had 8 offensive possessions in total and scored only 17 points. That's not good. Especially compared to the offense in the first 5 games where we were scoring on 80% of our drives.

We might need to trade for a DB just so we can generate some pressure.

I'm telling you cutting Ferrell would be addition from subtraction. Teams are sliding protection towards Bosa and we can't get home.

Ferrell maybe had our best pass rush rep

What happened to Drake Jackson? Did he even play tonight?
Also, I wouldn't be mad at firing Wilks mid season if he doesn't get things together. I think he's been that bad, the players have just been covering it up.

To me it looks like teams are sliding towards Bosa. Chipping him too. And QBs are comfortable sliding towards Ferrell. He's had so many opportunities to make a play but he has the worst bend and he can't push the pocket. I said it before the season and now, he's the worst DE we've had. Start Jackson and Gregory the rest of the season.

Didn't he had Brian Burns, Jaycee Horn, Jeremy Chin, Derrick Brown, and Shaq Thompson, and still did nothing?

He's not there yet. But there's certainly some themes from his calls that just don't mesh with the defense. Specifically the Dline. Seems like every time he called a blitz the Vikings threw a screen.

Thats just the math of it too. There's an emotional aspect when you break through and get a td going into halftime just to squander it in one of the most atrocious defensive series we've seen yet this year. Lots of examples like that.

Spot on. These guys must've been pissed off after Ward gave up that TD.
