He said multiple times that he didn't want the job.

they should force him to take it now lol

how about let's not panic into major personnel moves when we lose by 2 or 5
teams lose games
we are 5-2, I know ppl want heads to roll, but let's get a lil real, this is NFL football I legit had a convo, where someone was telling me we can't possibly get beat by CLE,
this is NFL football, you can lose any week, to anybody

I dunno.

Plenty of stars on defense with not much to show. KC is a statue and we got zero sacks. The pass rush has been meh all season long for the most part. Minny moved the ball at will with their top WR out and a poor running game up until last night. We have alot of money tied up on defense.....
I haven't seen the all-22, but it seems like the defense just lines up and plays. Wilks is making it so easy for opposing QBs to read the coverage and know exactly where they're going with the ball. I thought this dude was supposed to bring creative blitz packages? Everything is so vanilla.

see the end of the first half
otherwise it's bend don't break

I do think once Bosa starts being Bosa and forklifting linemen into the QB Wilks IQ will go up, magically

Can't stand him either, but look at the play.

This is called putting your players in position to fail. Wilks was a whole bucket of WTF last night. Was it past his bedtime?

It's clearly incidental. Not getting that call.

If we keep this guy on staff say goodbye to our window. All this talent wasted

It's nappy time for boomer Wilks. To be honest, I was initially surprised Shanny hired him. Shanny typically goes with new blood.

He's playing Cousins in fantasy, lol.
I don't advocate firing Wilks, but , Kyle has some real coaching to do with him. Kyle is the OC , but more importantly, is the HC, and therefore responsible for what comes out of the D coach. Saleh was a stud, and Meco was even better. But both left and kyle was left once again with no DC. He made remarkable choices both times, but this time….well, we'll see. The talent is there, but not the DCoaching. Kyle as HC has to fix it.

Wide 9s..boy we got cut to pieces with their run game. Meco had an answer, and maybe kyle needs to go back and look over that with Wilks. DBs let the same damn pass go 25-30 yards 10 times ( i lost count after 8) right to middle of field, and if we had placed one DB at that one spot, he would have had 8 INTs. Also , cuzins was unbelievably hot , the best QBing I've seen in a long time. He played the best game of his life…so there is that too.

But somewhere, somehow, kyle has to get Wilks untracked…I mean what happened? Did he suddenly fall off the earth? We had played 5 games and looked tremendous on D …and O. Did the league suddenly figure us out and now has a way to stop the 9ers D? I have no idea what to do or where to go. But one thing for sure…this is not just a Wilk problem , it is a kyle problem too. On O, kyle was flat last week. This week…he just seemed off.

No question, as Baldie explained, with Deebo out, we needed to lean on Aiyuk more…5 catches in first half was excellent.. 1 pass , or was it 2 in entire 2nd half? No passes to #44 as I recall, only a handful to #85, Jauan got his share, and CMC could have had some passes. It was just weird as if kyle was not his usual self. Did the guy he mentored know kyle well enough to know what he was going to call? Who knows.

Last week was the wake up call. This week…i dunno…what DO you call it? Whatever, kyle has the horses for a legit SB run. Having a bye into the playoffs is a huge advantage. Coach needs to fix "IT" whatever that is and do it fast. I'll be saying the beads for him.
