You give all the reps to Lance. You evaluate his progress. If he's not playing well, and Darnold is playing well, you don't HAVE to play him until Purdy returns. A couple of games is not a real chance for Lance to develop anyway. You play the best QB you have until Purdy is ready. Trey has an opportunity to be that guy, and the starter going forward even when Purdy is healthy, depending on how he's playing.

Wasn't it you that already mentioned this scenario before? They're acting like it's crazy but I've seen Darnold beating out Trey mentioned as a possibility before

Dude let's come back to reality and understand what Sam is as a QB. he's got 55 starts and 1,800 passing attempts. He's not good. He's a backup at best.
