Sam had a higher ypa/ypc and lower INT rate than Purdy last year, throwing to receivers who are out of the NFL. What makes you think his numbers would look worse that last year's throwing to Aiyuk, Deebo, CMC and Kittle?

Yes, and usually if you're playing with better players, your numbers go up. Purdy and Jimmy G (who everyone here wanted gone) had the same 16td, 4 INT stats. It's not like Purdy came in and we started winning. Jimmy G won 5 straight games before he got hurt. The team was already on a roll.
