I'm leary with former 1st rd reclamation project, but Darnold is promising with Kyle

Well for now he's just a backup on a one year team friendly deal.

I'm not even sure what your point is.. you seem to insinuate Sam > Brock, but when put to the test of who you would start, you backed down. So even you seem to be of the mind that BP starts for now. What point are you making? That Sam is a more talented thrower of the football?

We can all agree that Sam is the more talented thrower of the football right? The question is then whether we can use his talents to maximize the skillset of our offense. Our offense right now is currently limited to mostly hitches, bubbles and screens.

Imagine there's more to quarterback play than talent throwing the football.

YES, and as much as I like Purdy and what he's done, I would not be surprise if Darnold is the one to lead us back to the Super Bowl.... I always thought that he was OK w/the Jets but there was just too much expectation as a savior... Then at Carolina, everyone just assumed that he should have instant success...

This maybe the place where he becomes that 1st rounder.

Being able to make all the throws is also very important, especially if you have Super Bowl aspirations.

Are you watching the 2nd half of the NFCCG? BP is healed, he can throw all the stuff now.

He has definitely looked very promising so far in the preseason with Kyle's offense.

If you want Sam to start, be loud and proud about it man . No need to beat around the bush. It may end up the correct opinion. I think BP should start, and he's gonna have a great year. I like Sam also, and think he would do well for himself and us, if he gets out there. BP played the QB spot about as well as I've seen it played, and I saw Joe and Steve in their day, Elvis Grbac also

Brock posted a video in highschool of him throwing a football across a basketball court for a swish, which confirms he is going to be great.

Talented thrower of the football? What does that even mean? Are you talking arm strength? That's a weird way to say arm strength, because that is the only attribute Darnold has over Purdy.
