Lol. Such transparent garbage.

The way I see it, if you took issue with my post there is obvious truths to it.

Or the schtick of that alt account and your response to it couldn't be more obvious. Trey nutters stay logic and context free and live in their feelings.

Let's get an IP check, lol.

By all means, but let's put some . This has nothing to do with Trey though. Nice deflection. There is a Trey thread. This is about career bust, never accomplish a single thing Darnold.

Lol. Defense and run game almost got them in. That's like giving credit to Jimmy during some of our playoff wins where he would avg 10 completions.

During that 4-2 stretch he only had one game where had more than 20 completions.

In the win against the Saints he was 5-15 with 2 INTs. But I'm sure his EPOCAFGZ was off the charts bro!

Because Carolina was tanking. Why would you rely on 4 yard rush plays when Darnold was averaging 14 yard pass plays? It was obvious they were intent on better draft picks. Did you notice how they unleashed Darnold in the Tampa game when they had a chance to make the playoffs?

Darnold had only 10% fewer throws than Purdy in the regular season. If you removed the Saints game when the Saints played their third string, he had the best stats of all QBs including Mahomes during that stretch when he played.

So then how tf can you say how well he played but then you see the stats and say they were tanking? Which is it lmao. And lol at 23 completions "unleashed" dude you're pretty delusional. This was fun but I'm done now lol.

He's saying they were tanking by running the ball, but Darnold overcame that as well. Man was battling the other team and his own coaches apparently lol.

He also said that Darnold averaged 14 yards per pass play.....which is his YPC, not YPA. Id have to imagine 14 YPA would be the highest in NFL history LOL.

Well in fairness, if Darnold throws an incompletion it's because the WR dropped the ball or the coach called a bad play to intentionally tank.

You might want to edit this post again, champ.

Stay mad.

I think he's pretty good, I don't think he's a career bust, a NYJ bust, but Geno was also. Open question to what his future holds, I bet he starts again for someone. KS really likes his game. I don't look so much at accomplishments or go knee deep into the stats on Darnold, it's more about watch his game, how he plays the position. He looks like a QB1 to me, just needs some help, he's not a I can elevate a bad squad all by myself dude, but who the heck is. Mahomes didn't even do that, he inherited a darn good team with a HOF caliber coach. Peyton Manning is one of the few I saw who turned the whole team situation around, that's rare.

Based off of what? His 5 out of 6 drives with no scores? Including 3 three and outs? Him throwing directly into a defender across his body? A literal rookie mistake? I've pointed out him missing targets and taking sacks here already. What exactly did he do that was starter material?

His "near INT" even if the defender caught it, would've been out of bounds. You didn't see the all 22 on that play. The ball was headed to the side of the end zone and the camera angle didn't show it. Also Darnold had 11 dropped balls according to PFF and lots of penalties that killed drives. He didn't play with the first team unlike Purdy.

I mean.....I am saying Darnold sucks. That is what he has demonstrated during his NFL career.

Now, he is in a great position and I think he could resurrect his career here. But until that happens, all we can do is base our judgement on what he has shown thus far.....which is s**t quarterbacking.

I hate to repeat this, but he was a top QB in all of the advanced metrics last year (EPA, CPOE, ypa, yac, INT%). He is by far the best backup in the league and Kyle knows he has a QB who can make all the throws if teams figure his QB1 out.

I know he is our backup, which until proven otherwise, is all that he is.

And he was the top QB in 6 games? Cool. That doesnt change that he has been trash his entire career.

Stuff like this is next level to me
can he get consistent with his decisions on where to put the football in this offense?
can he prep each week like he's the guy? that's what backup QB has to do
next level throw below
he moves and throws very well in my book
