His "near INT" even if the defender caught it, would've been out of bounds. You didn't see the all 22 on that play. The ball was headed to the side of the end zone and the camera angle didn't show it. Also Darnold had 11 dropped balls according to PFF and lots of penalties that killed drives. He didn't play with the first team unlike Purdy.

Lol No.... This was a rookie throw accross the body to a guy obviously covered. This is not a mistake a veteran should make.

He missed this...

This was a sack he took. Even pre-snap there was nobody on this guy. This is a simple read. This is rookie stuff.

Another sack he took with guys wide open that a 55+ game veteran should see. This is basic. This is stuff you guys look right past because he made a single throw.

Here's where he got scuttled and left the pocket for a 4th down. There is no reason for a 55+ year starter to not step up in the pocket here.

You should post the all 22 video instead to see how fast the defender was moving and Darnold's velocity on the ball. Yes it was a bad pass but there was a very small chance he would have two feet in bounds catching that ball. That pass was also milliseconds away from being a TD.

The first one was was a curl route as his first read and PFF counted it as a dropped pass maybe due to how Ronnie Bell ran that curl.

I don't even know where to watch videos of your other images to verify what you're saying. Please post the video links instead.

On the third image, there is no pocket. You have to post video clips so we can see how fast the defenders are moving and how much time he has to throw. Images do not show the full context of the plays.

Disagree. This was easily intercepted if the defender doesn't drop it. Sadly I got rid of my adobe account or I'd show you and break down what a rookie mistake this was.
^ I saw the video for the second image. The circled receivers are his 3rd and 4th reads. He had already gone to his second read before the pocket collapsed and he was sacked.

The guy never had two feet in bounds after making contact with the ball.

It's called a check down. This type of pressure is exactly why they run those routes. He panicked, nothing more.

He had less than 2 seconds on that play.

Brock missed a deep TD here

QBs can't be perfect on every play.

Sure... But we have 55+ games of Darnold playing terribly, seeing ghost and he's still a backup that signed for a 1 year deal lol. There is ample evidence Darnold is garbage.

He had a higher expected completion rate than Purdy and Jimmy last year and a higher ypa. Do you know more than Kyle about evaluating QBs for his system? Why does Shanahan "love" Darnold?

It's been pathetic for quite some time.

Still waiting for your opinion as I can back myself up. You seemed to bounce once football talk started.
