I highly doubt the 49ers give up Darnold at any point this season. Even if a 1st were offered, having seen what happened to Aaron Rodgers last night and the 49er QBs last season, the answer would be "NO!"

I cannot see Shanahan or Lynch trading away Darnold. Not with the injury history in SF. Brandon Allen, however, is a different story. Perhaps that's the reason why the 49ers are kicking the tires on Ian Book.
