QB Sam Darnold is a Viking

Feel like he made two real mistakes and was pretty much taking what was given most of the game.

Seemed a lot like Jimmy out there or beathard, or hoyer.

Purdy is the only one whose been greedy enough to make shanahans scheme work it seems with this garbage tier offensive line. I feel like any other QB that can't process so insanely fast will just get eaten alive in this scheme with this line.

No surprise here, he's just Sam Darnold at the end of the day.
Solid back up but that's about it.
All the hype about him in the offseason playing for Shanahan was a little bit reminiscent of that wild offseason where Mitch Trubisky all of sudden became apparently the guy everyone wanted to sign because he was the back up of Josh Allen for one season.
They should try to draft someone else to be the back up of Purdy or get someone like Minshew, Brisset or Browning. I would even try to get back Garoppolo if he's cut by the Raiders. He's better than Darnold.
Still they should have won this game. Not Darnold's fault, the kicker missed two easy kicks.

We've won close playoff games in both of the last two seasons. We have won many close regular season games. We've beat the s**t out teams all year long, lol.

People need to remember how our last victory in Lambeau Field to really QUIET themselves over this concern.

deepniner probably wasnt a ninerfan until this season lol.
Looked good
I have to confess that I expected him to throw at least 2 picks. Nice job, Darnold!
I thought Sam played well yesterday. He drove the team down to score or put them into the position to score each time the starters were in. What else do you want from your backup?

I wonder if he's done enough to rehab himself into NFL starter once again

He learned well from watching that irrelevant guy.
I thought Sam played pretty well in the first half and then showed in the second half why he is a backup QB.

It's a good thing he played like a backup. If he played well there would be fanboys calling for him to replace Purdy the next time Brock throws an INT.

Slow footed and decision making. Having UPS drivers as backups didn't help either.

Fanboys are gonna fanboy. Cant pay any attention to those guys. I would have preferred he lit up the Rams and showed that he could handle being a starter if needed.
Meh, his goal was to win the game and it does not matter by how many points. He basically did that if Moody was clutch. I think he did fine in the backup role. It's been a while since he was on the field and did okay as a back-up.

Moody get your crap together. You have been okay too but this is two games on you now.
