Oliver is good tackles than Hufanga. Oliver is not good coverage well. Hufanga cant tackles well. I saw him for two games and lost games for us. Hufanga missed the tackles and make me disappointed it.

Huf has never been a great tackler, he just has a nose for the ball and feasts on mistakes QBs make when our pass rush gets pressure. He has really been exposed this season with our pass rush struggling.

That Bosa pressure/Huf INT is exactly what I was talking about
Yep. I already know. Huf is a spy for an ints. He is finally a tackler. He needs training to tackle well.
I wonder if Oliver could learn S in the upcoming weeks. He doesn't seem to be quick enough for corner, but plays well downhill. With Womack on the outside looking in, and Huf out, maybe we try to move Oliver to backup the safety spot in case of another injury.

Absolutely should. Play him at SS.

I think that would be a great fit for his skill set.

Same thing I thought. Although I'll be frank - his angles to the ball are not that great. But he can tackle.
Our MVP again. He's either making huge plays or giving them up. So odd.

Ollie O can be our best asset against Philly and Balty... He can be that SPY for both those running QBs that they have...

the guy can't cover, but one thing he can do is SEEK N DESTROY.. he's a smaller built version of ROY WILLIAMS...

BUFFALO shoulda won that game had 17 and 13 connected... we need to be patient against Philly., we can go on a shoot out.. ..

Yes he sucks at coverage, but dude can tackle and can distribute some pain for runners. I just think he is better suited as a safety. Also incase Tig struggles we at least have a veteran to back him up.

Yeah I don't mind him as a backup and filling in on rotation etc. he doesn't have the speed to cover most guys but playing in the box would probably be the spot where he does best.

Posted this is the other thread, but there's no reason he can't play safety. He's done it before. Oliver took some snaps at safety with Atlanta last year and also was recruited as a three star safety out of highschool.
