^ Yup this is true. His willingness isn't an issue at all, it's his ability to tackle that needs work

Isaiah Oliver played 75% of his snaps in the slot last season. He has a PFF coverage grade of 74.3 over the past 2 seasons. Had a pass rush grade of 77.1 last season. He did miss 17% of his tackles last season and gave up a 68.4% completion rate but only had a 72.4 passer rating against him with zero TD's given up.

That sounds good. IMO, Slot is one of the most difficult positions to play in all of football since they usually have to play in wide open space and don't have the benefit of funneling a guy to the sideline. Have to be quick and tackle well.

Pretty impressive to only allow a 72 passer rating and not allow any TD's.

Geno Smith looks to be the toughest challenge. I'm not scared at all.

Gonna whoop some ass in the NFCW!!!

That's every CB lol. It's like the old saying "I don't need you to know how to fight I just need you to be willing to fight."

Loved him during his draft. Great pickup and replacement for Jimmie Ward. He's versatile and can play anywhere in the secondary but his tackling abilities is nowhere near Ward. And yes, Oliver will be our starting Nickel, not Womack

Oh s**t Waterbear about to come in here saying Huf is taking that position

I thought so too. Great signing. We had the #1 defense last season and we continue to get better and better this off season.

No it isn't. We just let one go who was both willing and able to lay the wood at CB in Eman. Ramsey is awesome and so is C. Ward. There's plenty of CBs who can actually tackle better then cover but at that position, of course the preference of better ability would be the latter

I had him as CB4 that year. I wanna see film of him in the pros playing outside cause at CU he seemed like he was gonna be a prototype outside C3 CB.

IIRC he sucked something fierce on the outside in Atlanta, had a lot of struggles there but once they put him in the slot, he started to progress and really come into his own.

Ramsey is awesome at tackling.....until Deebo is running his way then it's preservation mode.

Dude has long arms (97th percentile). You know what they say about guys with long arms.
It's hard to find a shirt that fits.
