Do a lot of people have this ? Or are we still looking for streams ?

I have it. The streams are terrible. Break up and go down and cut up. It's $449.00 without YouTube TV. Which is what I have. Total ripoff. But I just hate the sports bars now. After having this you don't even want to go. It's worth about $250.00. They rip you off. But for now I have it. Once you can get every Sunday game at home you will never want to do it another way.

Thanks. I think Verizon is giving 100 dollar discount so it ends up being 350 without YouTube tv. I'm in the same boat as you. Too old to go to the bars. Just not into looking for streams all the time anymore. Thinking about just dishing out the 350 and making my life easier. How long have you been using it…

I have had it for 2023 and 2024. 2 years. Once you have it you get spoiled. It's the most essential service. Because honestly the grand majority of games are Sunday.

The others are a bit of a gimmick. A few games on Thursday or whatever for a subscription. Many are not even the 49ers.

NFL Premium + can rewind anything you miss. On any subscription platform you don't have. Every NFL game. But after it's over.

If you know a college kid, get their college email and you can get it 50% off i believe. I don't know why they offer college kids this huge discount but they have been doing it forever.

That's good to know. Will try to find someone in my extended family…

Yea I tried Rewind. Just not into going back to watch the game when you kind of already know the outcome.

I think you've convinced me. Will probably sign up after the Jets game. Although I got kind of confused by what miked1978 said above you about not having access to the live game until it was 30 minutes in….wouldnt want to miss any action

You have access right away. I use NFL Premium + for services I don't have like Peacock and Netflix. A few games on there which I don't get. I don't think the 49ers have any this year like that. But if you want to rewind a Peacock game for example. The Brazil game was already up there 5 minutes after it ended last night. I used to take 24 hours. It's faster now. So if you didn't want to sign up for Peacock for example. You can rewind just those games. I don't have Peacock and not sure I want to get it. I like seeing all Sunday games. In and out of market. No matter what they are. Realistically you get 90% of all NFL games with that.

Sunday in market - your regular cable.
Sunday out of market - NFL Sunday Ticket YouTube.
Sunday Night Football - Mostly televised on cable.
Monday Night Football - Mostly televised on cable.

Thursday Night Football - Some Amazon Prime. I don't have for now but I may get it.
Thursday Night Football - Some on NFL Network. You can get it on NFL Premium +.

Some limited selected games throughout the year - Netflix. I don't have that.
Some limited selected games throughout the year - Peacock. I don't have that.

With my setup I can probably get 90% - 93% of games. I haven't done the exact math. Spectrum Cable (in market games - Sunday), MNF (cable), SNF (cable), YouTube Sunday Ticket (out of market Sunday games). Thursday is a combination of Amazon Prime (I don't have it for now but may get it). Also NFL Network (I have it with NFL Premium +). Whatever limited games you don't get like Peacock I have the rewind option on NFL Premium +.

Nice description of how complicated they are making it to watch games. Just too many platforms. You can get the games on Amazon for $8.95 per month witht the first month free. That means you can sign up just prior to the 49ers first Thursday game with the Seahawks and get that one for free. If you keep the service for 2 months you will get the Rams Thursday game. Then cancel. You end up only paying about $18.

I had Sunday Ticket from when it began and loved it. When YouTube bought it I decided not to go with them. I don't really miss it like I thought I would. I haven't missed having ESPN so far either. So many other channels carrying games now.

Yeah I agree it's way to complicated. That's one of the big downsides in of itself. Just way too many services to sign up for. If they want to do this which I find bad you should be able to go to 1 site. Like NFL.com. Then just click ALL or some of them or whatever. Even signing up for all this stuff is super inconvenient and you get lots of different chargers. I hate the new NFL system. I still think they get enough from the viewers and advertising based on that viewership. This system is annoying and greedy.

I may sign up for Amazon Prime. I just haven't so far because I honestly don't get as much Amazon stuff as I used to. So I was unsure about doing that one. I resist Peacock and Netflix. Both of which I don't have. Briefly looking at the 49ers schedule I didn't think the 49ers have a Peacock or Netflix game. So I really don't care. I'm not so addicted that I have to watch every single NFL game all year long. I always miss some and have other interests. So if the 49ers aren't on Peacock and Netflix I see no reason to sign up. It's only a few one off games all year long. I can rewind them on NFL Premium + if I really want to.
Anyone else having problems w Sun tic? For me it plays for 2 seconds then freezes for 5-10 seconds. Unwatchable

Amazon Prime is now $14.99 per month. If you don't buy a lot of stuff from them you can get Prime Video only for $8.99 per month. I was just watching the NFL Networks free preview of Red Zone. Their version sucks. They jump around way too much. I was having trouble tryin to keep track of which team I was watching. At least the Sunday Ticket version would stay on a game for a few plays.

Anyway it looks like the NFL doesn't care about the fan experience anymore as long as they can make money.

Currently in SF with Direct tv we don't have ESPN or local channel 7 where Mondays game where suppose to air. Cause of Direct tv's dispute with Disney we cant watch Niners Jets.

Get rid of direct TV and just get Hulu tv or YouTube tv

In Eugene the local ABC channel is independently owned so I still get it on Directv. I can also switch to over the air telecasts in case something happens to the satellite. You can buy an indoor antennae that will pick up the games. They aren't expensive and they're a good backup for when these disputes popup. All carriers eventually have disputes with networks about content.

I upgraded my setup. Prime now also.

* Regular cable - in market games.
* YouTube Sunday Ticket - out of market Sunday games.
* Amazon Prime - Thursday Night Football.
* NFL Premium + - Thursday Night Football and rewind games too.
* Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football - mostly on your regular cable.

I don't have Netflix or Peacock. Which have a few one off games. I don't believe the 49ers have any this year and therefore I don't really care. I don't need to see every single NFL game.
