I feel like Willis is more that guy than Latu.

Willis or Coletto.

The way Willis was pass blocking on that shoulda been touchdown makes me think not.

I thought Latu looked good in the Chargers game. I didn't see a fumble or dropped pass by him. I'd let him on the 53 simply with his blocking. Got to protect the Franchise QB with this guy's blocking when we see Riddick later in the season.
Nick Herbig was on the board when they drafted this dude and the kicker. Yikes.

Hopefully Kittle will negate him when we play blitzburg.

That's the story of every draft when good players are available and we reach for players a couple rounds early who nobody else would've taken 😂

Well, we took Latu and in the Charger game he didn't embarrass himself like previously. I saw how effective the two tight end sets were against the Chargers. The 49er run game looked unstoppable till Mason (I think) fumbled. That's one way to protect your franchise QB - just have your QB's hand off to your star RB's and road grade the opposing defense.

Of course. We just can't have good things.

Convenient injury so they can stash a not ready player on IR for a year?

I'd say so.
Could be a quick turnaround time on that surgery....

Great point, didn't think of that perspective.
