Not really surprised. At 5'9" 185, he was way undersized at CB. His only chance was as a returner but Ronnie Bell made him expendable.

He looked good in the small slot CB role too and a more explosive returner than Bell.

He wasn't secured with the ball as a punt returner. He can't be active on game day if he is only doing kick return.

I don't think he is ready to be a slot corner any time soon IMO.

The f**k is that?
I'm disappointed but I can get over this one. He wasn't going to win the KR/PR job, and there are probably plenty of other guys on waivers or vets we could bring in to round out the DB group that would be just as good or better.

Imagine Seattle isolating Jamison against DK Metcalf twice a year.

KWaun Williams is 5'9 185. Jamison is 5'9 185

Yet I don't remember anyone saying "imagine seattle isolating Kwaun against DK Metcalf twice a year"
Why is that ?

Lenoir. He slides inside and covers the shifty smaller slot WR's where Oliver covers the TE's and bigger receivers who run out of the slot.

And they can hold up a sign that we are in man to man also as they line up.
