The Saints completely crapped all over themselves, that's what I took from last night over the Rams actually being this "scary good red hot team"

i said it somehere and people here mocked me lol
I think the Rams are the scariest team in the NFC to us. They may have the best offense outside us in the conference And with 2 great WR a great RB and a great QB I would rather not play them.
I legitimately think they beat the Lions Eagles or Cowboys in the first game

The Rams offense is probably the best in the NFL outside of the 49ers. I wouldn't discount them so easily, they're not the Eagles who are a complete clusterf**k at this point or the Cowboys who have the 49ers living rent free in their heads. They're well coached, Stafford is playing at a high level, Nucua has 1,300 yards receiving as a rookie, Cooper Kupp is starting to round back into form, Kyren Williams is a thousand rusher with over 5 yards a carry and the OL has become pretty good. They're peaking at exactly the right time.

they remind me of the 2021 49ers a lot.

Correct, but their defense isn't nearly as good as a few years back. I also believe they could be dangerous as they know us and hate us.
All it takes a bad turnover or two and you're done. But like other have said they get in let other teams deal with them first lol

Rams are a team that can week 1 playoffs teams are not going to want to play. I can see them upsetting a team or two and get smashed by the Niners.

Lol I just told some football buddies of mine nearly the identical thing last night.
i think we beat them and are much better prepared for them than we were early in the season, but I see them beating Dallas,Philly, or the lions. If it's the lions - i think lions def lose.

I'm really hoping the week 18 matchup doesn't really matter (for us). I don't want that kind of intense game where they're fighting for their playoff lives and we are fighting for the one seed.
Realistically, we just can't play soft man coverage on them. Need our interior liner

If the Rams win next week, are they pretty much guaranteed for the playoffs?

Best case scenario is Rams get the 6th seed and beat Detroit in the Wild Card and then we beat the s**t out of them in the divisional

The rams probably are the second best team in the NFC, but they still don't scare me because of their defense. For anyone bringing up 2021, the niners only scored 17 points (they also only scored 23 and 13 points against the cowboys and packers, respectively).
It can't be emphasized enough how much better the offense is now with Brock and CMC.

I'm not sure. I haven't followed the other seeding much at all. Does anyone know?

Yeah if we don't score over 30, it's sorta surprising. What's even more crazy is that I think the defense has only scored for us once this year - so those stats aren't inflated like the cowboys where defense/special teams is scoring a lot too.
