Broncos had a chance to hire Kyle Shanahan--didn't. Been paying for that mistake ever since.
Payton calling screen passes on 1st down was as predictable as cold in winter.

Belichick is not even close to being the GOAT coach IMO. He's Carroll tier and benefitted by having the GOAT QB.

I think he's hands down one of the greatest ever, arguably the best ever. He revolutionized defenses, was flexible with his offense and grew it to adapt to the game (through coordinators). Won super bowls as a coordinator and the most ever as a HC.

he def benefited from having Brady, just like any coach benefits from having a great qb.

what belichick accomplished with Brady was special. I don't see any reason to knock him. Even the best can't win with bad to mediocre qb play, especially this day and age.

People forget what he did as a coordinator. I feared those Giants defenses, much more so than the Bears. His game plan for Super Bowl XXV is literally in the Hall of Fame. His game plan against the Rams was another masterclass in Super Bowl XXXVI. The Tom Brady thing only means he is not in the G.O.A T tier with Walsh, Brown, Lombardi, Halas, etc. But he is absolutely at that next tier.

Haha - Payton blows it.

Didn't just blow it, he made it possible for NE to win it.

I'd love to see the raiders beat the chiefs today. Lol I just love watching the chiefs struggle because they've been so good.

That'll take a Christmas miracle.

I just like watching them struggle cause I can't stand the Chiefs. And I think Homer has more flowers than he should tbh. Not too hard to get two rings when s**t went the way they did. I mean he is good but eh. Raiders have been one of my least favorite teams but hope they somehow pull a Christmas miracle and make Mahomes have another meltdown. The guy is completely classless and totally cringe. Entitled💩. I am glad we don't have a qb like that.

I think Mahommes is a special QB but he's had an ideal situation his entire career until now. Similar to what brock is in right now.

I remember when he resigned his big extension, I was telling my friend that we are going to see how great he actually is in a few years cause his team won't be nearly as good and he will have to carry more of the load. I still think Mahommes is the best qb but he's finally looking human, just goes to show you that you NEED talent around - for all those dummies that say guys can do it completely on their own. lol

even a great coach like belichick can't do much without a good qb.

And Belichick was lucky that his QB wasn't selfish and took a lower salary so the team could be better.

I guess marrying someone that had more money than him helped.

That guy only took a lower salary some of the time, is due to him already getting the max in his prior years

If that's the criteria, then Brock def isn't doing that. Lol

we will see what Brock does in 2 years. Hopefully 2 chips later. Muahahah

Yeah and that is obvious about needing talent around. Don't even know why that was even a thing to talk about. The most dumb take I heard all year, that got wayy too much traction. Other lame take, BP was done after that 3 game skid. Of course he was going to come back..have ppl not watched him play football? Yes, key players were out and yes that affected the game against the Browns..would it not affect Montana's game if Jerry Rice was taken out? Would that make Montana less of a great qb? And yet ppl freaked out that BP was a phase. Anyone who said that doesn't know s**t about football. Brady passed the baton to BP..that is just the facts.

For Brock to never have a rough game, ever, would be astonishing. Lol the dude has balled out every game except for a couple, that's very normal. His worst game, he got us in position to win. The other two were more of just bad decisions at the end of the game (which some could be attributed to a concussion).

It isn't like he was playing like Lance or Zach Wilson. Lol i just view it as all part of a learning curve.

historically, almost every QB in nfl history has a few rough games in their first 20+ starts. The league catches up to you or catches you off guard. Sometimes it's not your day and the d makes great plays. It's just football. Especially when so many key guys were injured and the defense was sucking too. Whole team was sucking
