we went through this earlier. F*CK the Chiefs

I love the 49ers more than I hate the Chiefs. Or Giants. Or Packers. Or even the Cowboys.

Too early to care.

We lost Home Field Advantage last year in week 1. Just saying.

Man Detroit isn't challenging for the top 2 seeds and I'm nowhere near a betting man and that would be something I'll bet on

They look pretty darn good tonight.

I respectfully disagree. I don't think either team looks great. The lions have one play that works and the Chiefs have little pass rush and the lions O still looks meh.

I'd rather the Chiefs lose, TBH.

You'd rather the 49ers lose potential playoff seeding to punish the Chiefs?

Yes. They are the new Patriots - unless they are playing our division opponents I want them to lose.

Also, I don't see the Lions threatening the 49ers for playiff seeding, TBH. That only happens if SF underperforms this season, IMO, and that would likely mean the Eagles have the #1 seed locked up anyway in that scenario.

Are you not watching the game? They are a dangerous team. We need them to lose as much as possible.

I'd rather face the number 2 seed Detroit Lions in the NFCC game at Levi's than a lower seeded Lions team to face in the Divisional. Let them feast….

That was the stupidest field position to run that direct snap play. For a team that supposed to be good at situational football that was absolute horse Pucky.

New coordinator right?

Yeah. Bienamy is in Washington now

For one it's week 1, 2 KC doesn't have Kelce. How many teams over the years if the NFL look good week 1 only to either fall apart or look nothing like they did week 1. Still would pick Detroit to win their division but not because they're a juggernaut, they can win that division with 9-10 wins

They looked good the second half of last season two, and they signed a couple of really good players. They are dangerous.
This should be an interesting 5mins
Lions should get a TD and go for 2 to take it out of Mahomes
So, if Lions score a TD to go up 27-20 they should go for 2, right? If they make it that's a two possession/score lead. If they miss it KC scoring their own TD likely means they kick it to tie and go to OT rather than go for a win/loss outcome with a 2 pt attempt.
