People constantly claim that Purdy is coddled but I don't think there's a more coddled QB in football than Hurts. Top OL, top WRs, tremendous run game. He has crazy levels of talent surrounding him but the narrative is a lot different.

Yeah I'm not sure why everyone is quick to think of him as the MVP of the league.

I love Hurts as a player and competitor (wish he wasn't on the Eagles) but couldn't agree with you more.

He has an incredible amount around him. He rarely can find a 2nd read and just runs.

I am not even debating if they are valid penalties or not...its the timing.

His numbers aren't even that good either, especially since the start of the Chiefs game.

And a flag can basically be thrown on linemen any play. Can call petty ones whenever you want. Philly doesn't seem to ever get them called. Yet they have a QB that likes to scramble and get out of the pocket, where OlineMen can often get a little grabby.
