He is not Jimmy G or CMC. I like the trade but it is not like I can't wait to see him play right away.

I will say this....
I love these kinds of trades... I like how the 49ers get other teams to EAT money on these trades. CMC and Gregory are sooo low risk and give a heck of a value to the 49ers.
I would be all for moving high draft picks for a good/great CB or Tackle if we can get the other team to eat a large part of the owed money.

Uh, he was joking.
This means Gregory won't be in uniform this weekend. However, Shanahan jokingly refused to rule out the possibility.

Whatever eff it. Would be nice to have an additional talented pass rusher but will have to make do without. Hopefully he grinds and learns the system
