He's already in football shape so I don't understand why he isn't taking the field.

Probably because the coaches would like a week to see him compete and earn that playing time. Nothing is given unless you're a HOF worthy player like CMC.

I think they already know if he can compete....besides it's not like they couldn't just put him on a pitch count to start off right away. Put him in third down situations or something.

I'm not a fan of the guy. He's a good player but I have soured a lot on the NFL due to knuckleheads like him.
Get his stuff? You know, there is Task Rabbit lol
Jackson and especially Ferrell better make their presence known tonight or they will move to the end of the bench.

Pretty sure it's been said multiple times that he's not playing tonight. From what I've seen he's back in Denver and won't be back in the Bay until Monday.
"Hey guys, its awesome to be a 49er! I know we have a big game against Dallas tonight, but I gotta go get my stuff in Denver. good luck though!"
seems weird to me. CMC was with the team hours after his trade last year.

Initially Kyle said he'd be back Monday, but when a reporter pressed him on it he said he "didn't want to give away our secrets" and that it was possible that Gregory would play. Would be odd to release Hyder to make room for Gregory and then not have him active. I think it's just Kyle being Kyle and he'll be out there.

Yeah seems odd to me - why release hyder if Gregory isn't playing? Hyder is someone who's played a bit.

Unless they had to in order to meet requirements for roster size. Idk exactly but I'm still optimistic that gregory will play

Have to free up a roster spot. Gregory isn't playing.
Almost EVERY other time you see one of these trades the player suits up and plays. Not the best start imo. Effort is the foundation of success...that's gotta be a tony Robbins saying
I think it's funny that people are upset this guy didn't play two days after being traded. He didn't practice or sit in any meeting all week. Might have been able to show up for walkthrough on Saturday but that's already too late. People are upset with his work ethic though. 😂

It's a message to the rest of your guys on the team....not him.
Fred Warner was seen talking to Kinlaw after the latter got into a fight late into the Cowboys game. I am pretty sure Warner and others will be able to handle Gregory.

You don't have enough information to make a statement like that.

To sugarcoat it: People make unfortunate statements far too often.

The first time kyle spoke right after signing him Kyle said he wouldn't be playing Sunday, what does that have to do with effort lol
Should be rested after having his own personal Bye Week.
