"One of the things with Hurts is that he set such a ridiculous standard last year. Some of these deficiencies were around when he came out of school. The kid is a winner. Great intangibles. But he's never been patient in the pocket and has loved the deep sideline routes and ignored the underneath for years. Too much hero ball. He could get away with locking in on a receiver or two. We have won alot because of him, but I think defenses are honing in on who he is. That's up to him and the coaches to develop his skills further and shape the offense to help him."

The LOB killed that "If I get one-on-one, I'm throwing it to my guy" offense about a decade ago.

They have their own versions of Deebo, Aiyuk and Kittle plus a much better OL overall. There's no excuse for that offense to only score 17 points against Seattle.
Without the Tush Push, would Hurts be considered a mediocre QB?

I wonder what he stats would look like without that.

He would be a lot worse. If they didn't shove it up his a** all the time.

It's the same with Jackson. They are rb's in qb bodies. Jackson has the worst mechanics I've ever seen. He calls himself a pass first qb😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆. They literally call 1 pure pocket pass per drive. Hurts had a ridiculous D last year. It's hurt Jackson every time in the playoffs. You go up against the best D's with the best dlines and you have to be able to throw from the pocket. You could see it against JAX. Their brain goes into rb mode like 85 percent of the time.🫤

you are out of your mind if you think Jackson isn't a good passer. What hurts Jackson IMO he never has weapons outside Mark Andrews

Yeah Lamar Jackson is leaps and bounds ahead of Jalen Hurts as a passer. Earlier in his career Jackson would go into running mode often. But now he is much better at manipulating the pocket and actually going through reads and keeping his eyes down field to throw the ball. He's a good passer, but obviously not the best. His athleticism makes him such a threat, but he can definitely pass the ball well. Jalen Hurts is the guy who struggles much more to stay in pocket and go through reads.
Hurts definitely looked like he was suffering out there. His eyes were bagged and glossed over bad. Sucks to get sick at a bad time.

Good for us though. I figured the Seahawks would make it a game. I thought they would at least get to 25 pts though. I figured 25-21 but I guess the rain factor I did not account for.

Still a good game.

Hurts can't read defenses, he usually will try too hard to make a big play, he holds the ball too long and looks completely dumbfounded, and the offense seems to run the same 3 plays on repeat every game. Hell CMC was predicting their offense from his couch last night on Manningcast. Funny how suddenly Eagles fans are realizing how essential is for a QB to read defenses. If only Hurts had some game manager in him.

Every week this month the Eagles and pundits keep saying 'they are too talented for this to happen.' But it keeps happening.
