One of the more humorous response from the game thread for the weekend tilt against the Giants:

"We should absolutely rest our starters next week. That way they'll be good and fresh when they get their asses kicked WC weekend!"

To be honest? It looks like most fans have written off the season. The doom and gloom didn't start with the crushing loss to the 49ers. But, crushing losses to the Cowboys and Seahawks, followed by a collapse against the Cardinals, brought about a general malaise.
