It's going to take a lot to beat them. That's really a good team. Hopefully they lose some games in the tougher portion of the upcoming schedule.

Went to the SB and heard that irritating chant. The majority of them were so obnoxious, although I saw a few congratulating Chiefs fans, and one lady sincerely apologized to me for injuring Purdy. Told her thank you and congratulated her team for pummeling us. I was wearing a 49ers shirt and my son and I weren't the only ones. Most of them were a$$holes and it was very nice watching them leave the stadium.

I dislike that fanbase more than dallas and seattle. Karma's a b***h.

I can't wait until we win because people act as if the 5 don't matter anymore. Win one and now the recent success (3 NFCCG in 4 years, 1 Super Bowl appearance) and recent past success (Harbaughs 49ers) is all elevated and held in the regard it should be. Our one Super Bowl win , should we win, trumps every other franchise save for the Chiefs because no one has had this kind of run in the last 13 years.

It's not that It's b/c there is several generations of fans who never seen them win a SB. It's been over 30 years. 5 counts but the newer fans have only witnessed defeat.

Good post, and hoping the Niners take care of business this year (I've been fortunate to see all five SB victories...I remember #1 like it was yesterday).

I like the Niners' chances very much going into any game vs. any team.
