The problem with this is, Henry is the kind of back that becomes more effective the more carries he gets. He wears the defense down, and by the second half he's getting an extra 2-3 yards per attempt. How would he get 18-25 carries a game with CMC here? A local source said on Wednesday that 2 AFC and 1 NFC teams had contacted about Henry. My guesses are Bills, Bengals, and Eagles that have called.
He would have the same problem that you mentioned with those teams

He would be the #1 RB on those teams. Can't say the same here.

I agree that he's not a good fit for this offense.
McCaffrey could be a great slot receiver and Henry running could be fantastic. Sometimes have both in the backfield.
I don't think we are going to be looking to add a back, but if we were I would think getting Dalvin Cook to sprinkle in when CMC needs breath, would be a better fit.

Cook would probably have the same complaints here.

I was just thinking from a stylistically perspective compared to Henry.
Every time CMC gets a facemask you run Henry at that player 3x

Now, I DO like this idea!!!
Can he run in zone run schemes?

He's not benching J Cook, Mixon and Swift

like i posted before, he would be a great closer in our 4th qtr offense

Mixon has been garbage the last year and a half. Cook and Swift don't have a single 1,000 yard season (or even 700+ yard season) between them, let alone the 1,500 and 2,000+ yard seasons that Henry has put out recently. Henry is a top 5 RB. Mixon and Cook are not, and Swift is heavily helped by that offensive line.

I love the idea of prime Henry in this offense, but reading Titans forums it seems like lots of their fans think he is finished/very close to it

I'm sure they thought aj brown wasn't good enough to pay either

Watch Kenny Moore, NCB from Indy, 5'9" 190 pounds, he takes on Henry one on one and wins. And that's why he's #3 on Corners I want the 9ers to trade for.
The Titans are saying Henry won't be traded. We'll see but I'm pretty sure it won't be to the Niners. He wouldn't get enough carries to be happy.

This is silly.

Brown was traded after 3 seasons. Henry is in his 8th and RBs and has close to 2000 career carries. It's not crazy to think Henry could be closer to the end considering the life span of RBs in the NFL.
