I can't believe how lazy he is. He plays about 30% of the plays. He can't set the edge in the run game. He doesn't get home in the pass game. Gets blown off the line by WR's. I was hoping he would be more. Mostly a name and reputation. That's about all.

Bosa got blocked out of plays as well. Ben Johnson has a good scheme, copied in large part from Shanahan's outside run game. We all know you won't even make this team as a WR if you can't block the end of the line. The same is true of the Lions.

I put it more on the coaching than the player. Our defense practices against the offense every day. Kocurek should have his edge defenders with their heads on a swivel on run plays. The fact that both GB and the Lions managed to block our edge guys tells me Kocurek needs to step up his coaching in that area.

I really think we should give more playing time to Beal though to spell Chase some. He looks really quick and plays with good technique.

I'm curious your thoughts on Ferrell, you didn't like him all year, and now we do seem to be feeling his absence. Whitner saying we miss him in a big way.

I think Ferrell makes fewer mental mistakes than Young in run defense. But I don't necessarily think he's a better run defender than Young. If he is, it's only minimal. Remember, our run defense started getting worse with Ferrell not without him.

Whenever you have less rotation, I think you'll see the performance drop. That's what I think we're seeing right now with Young.

I don't like Ferrell as compared to the high standard of DE's we're used to... but that doesn't mean he sucks. We need more help and he helped this defense.

I still think Chase will not be worth the $$$ he'll be looking for.

That said, Kocurek and Wilks need to figure this out ASAP!

They'll probably start by looking at games where the Chiefs running attack was stopped.

We need to be ready for a VERY smart KC coaching staff on both sides of the ball.

GB "crack back" on the ends, even Bosa, slot receiver pretty just stood up the ends while they got outside on big run plays by pulling their tackles. Here came a smart Lions team and AGAIN took a huge lead by getting outside on runs on the exact same plays.

Guess what KC will be doing on Super Bowl Sunday from the 1st play BUT will not forget about it and use it util their last offensive play in that game.

Well, all it takes is one lie. It spreads from there. Marca is picking up on some Twitter account called "NFL Notifications." It's not official. It's just some BS account. So, somebody puts out a short tweet like "Chase Young Shat Diapers," and numerous YouTubers pick up on it as fact. This kind of crap is what will eventually destroy YouTube. People will no longer trust it as a trustworthy source of information. Once you've lost it, you rarely get it back.

I guess i havent paid a lot of attention to him this year but that effort on the Gibbs TD was potentially the worst that I have ever seen.

Two things:

1) Beal was active, but did he play? I feel like a little more rotation would help him stay fresh. Seems to get gassed easily. Young, Bosa, Gregory seem to be the only true DE getting snaps. I think I might've even seen Givens at DE some.. I think that needs to change. Maybe even call up Austin Bryant.

2) Young seemed better against the run lining up on the RT side.
