I can't believe how lazy he is. He plays about 30% of the plays. He can't set the edge in the run game. He doesn't get home in the pass game. Gets blown off the line by WR's. I was hoping he would be more. Mostly a name and reputation. That's about all.

He has averaged 58% of snaps since arriving here.

Percentage of snaps his last 4 games (excluding the Rams since we rested a bunch of players) :

Detroit 78%
GB 67%
Washington 57%
Baltimore 46%

He is bound to get over 80% in the SB. I wonder if they showed his efforts in the film room?

He's played way better than any other DE other than Bosa.

I would certainly like to keep him. 2nd year under Kocurek should be impressive. But for me, the most important re-signing is Feliciano. And it shouldn't be expensive. Plenty of work this year for Lynch, Marathe and the others. And inevitably some painful losses.

I love Feliciano in the run game but he's been getting abused in pass protection the last two games.

We need to use high draft picks to replace the entire right side then keep Feliciano as a capable backup.

I don't know the entire lay of the land, but it feels like there's an O line drought all around the league. We might have to jump up into the better part of the 1st round to draft quality there perhaps?

I rather keep Felic instead of Chase if it were one way or the other imo.

I hope we don't lose him.
Not making excuses for him, is there any chance he's hurt at all? He didn't get a regular season bye week, maybe he's fighting through some injury?

Possibly or just like to take breaks if the play doesn't call for a Chase Young sack.
I've read rumors that he could possibly be benched? If they saw that one footage that some posted here on that big run, it definitely warrants benching or diminished play time.

Two things:

1) Beal was active, but did he play? I feel like a little more rotation would help him stay fresh. Seems to get gassed easily. Young, Bosa, Gregory seem to be the only true DE getting snaps. I think I might've even seen Givens at DE some.. I think that needs to change. Maybe even call up Austin Bryant.

2) Young seemed better against the run lining up on the RT side.

Beal played 2 defensive snaps.
I get the feeling if there is 1 player that will get in trouble in Vegas before the game, it is him.

Beal needs to play more. He looks fast, quick, and plays with good technique, we just have to trust him.
I don't trust PFF at all, but here you go.

It's the playoffs where the best pits off agains the best. There will be a lot of instances where the opponents will outplay our own players. It is what it is. At the end of the day, what will really matter is the final score.
