Run Stop Leaders, DL, Playoffs, PFF:
— Akash Anavarathan (@akashanav) January 31, 2024
1. Javon Kinlaw, 4
t1. Justin Madubuike, 4
t1. Mike Pennel, 4
4. Chase Young, 3 (!!)
For all the flak that Kinlaw and Young have caught, they're both Top-5 in run stops in the postseason.
Run stops are great, but that's 4 total plays over 2 games. What about the other plays where the edge wasn't set, missed assignments, etc? More curious about overall run defense grade. It's kinda like that Cowboys CB on IR who had a ton of picks last year or the year before, but he allowed the most yards in the league. The splash plays are great, but what's happening other than that?
