Chase is the type of guy that will lose the hunger when he receives a big extension/contract. Can't teach effort or hustle especially with someone sitting at 20 million a year ( perhaps).

About Chase Young: It looked to me like he put in more effort in this game, especially in the 2nd half than in every other game before. And for the first time, he made a few key tackles in the run game. The fact that the criticism comes exactly at this time is a little bit strange. It would have been more deserved earlier in the season.

Criticism was served during the regular season but his lack of effort was amplified during the playoffs. One shouldn't need motivation in the NFC game.

I think there's something in the 'doing too much' thing. Possibly he hasn't been in a scheme that worked really well before, and is used to just trying to make plays however he can? Hard to break well-ingrained habits.
I remember there was a time when Bosa was doing too much freelance stuff on plays. He's really massively improved his scheme discipline to the point where he put on a masterclass of contain discipline vs Jalen Hurts.

I can't see him getting 20 million. Or even 10. If he does, that's great for us, but I can't see it.

Lol he could go full beast mode, you never know. Him and Bosa were on fire at first. Chase is ridiculously built and I am sure it takes tons of energy moving that body around. I would love for him and Bosa to sandwich Mahomes, just all over his ass.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but the lack of effort is alarming. How could you not want to go all out for this team? You came from a dismal situation in Washington where you were competing for nothing. Not even a wildcard or division title. Now you're suddenly in the Superbowl and you've been caught jogging on plays? Gtfo
