All the talk about Young elevating our pash rush has been a big disappointment. The Skins gave him away for a box of donuts and for some reason we thought we were getting a stud pass rusher....and his run defense.....beyond bad. Should have cut him after the Lions game.

Glad you arent running the team. He's been a disappointment for sure but you certainly dont cut him at this point.

I hope they let Robert Beal play some snaps.

There was a reason he couldn't beat out Ferrel for the starting spot. At least Ferrel gave you full effort and could set an edge.

I wonder how much money Chase has cost himself this year. The trade actually ended up being bad for him. If he stayed on Washington, he isn't under the microscope as much and maybe couldve picked up some cheap stats. Now he looks like a player that has difficulties staying to his assignments and effort is being questioned even in playoff games. Any possible excuse of not having stud players around him or lack of motivation due to not winning is completely gone.

Hurts had nobody around and took his sweet time and you can see Chase Young dogging it on the ground
That is not 49er football
Said this all the way back in Dec after the PHI game
His reputation in WASH was a lazy player
It was dead on
He has talent...but if you take plays off that might be the difference between winning and losing...especially in the gdamn SB

When he is a negative on defense....he should be. He actually hurt this team with his lazy and undisciplined play.

We weren't giving up anything for a stud pass rusher. People don't let go of stud pass rushers.
We gave up something for the POSSIBILITY of elevating the pass rush. If it was a guarunter then we would have to pay allot more.

SUBJECTIVE.... our dumb coaching staff gave away HALEY and of all the teams, to DALLAS... i don't care that we got a 2nd round, and in exchange of 1st round position... HOW DID THAT TURN OUT?
WE SHOULD BE HAPPY WE GOT " FAT BOY SLIM " FOR BASICALLY NOTHING.. and it's a favor for us that he's been an average player here thus far, it only means that he wont have any leverage after this year..

The guy made some good plays last game, unfortunately the lack of effort really stuck out on a few. Regardless he has the license and ability to turn his whole career around next game, it's up to him to decide his next contract.

I don't see the "talent". Maybe on a half assed Washington squad, he was the best of worst. I haven't seen anything from this guy that demonstrates he has talent at the position. Sucks that Ferrell is out for the SB…

In hindsight, it's too bad we didn't go harder for Montez Sweat. He would've been a bigger difference maker than Chase.
