Doesn't affect anyone else. He had a reputation for being lazy in Washington. He just takes plays off. If he cant put max effort into playoff games at the end of a contract year, he never will.

Maybe so. But he has to know his financial future is on the line. This is the 2nd contract and the biggest bag he's likely to collect. If he messes this up, that sets him on a course of minimum to mid level contracts at best if he loafs in the Super Bowl.
