It looks like he gets lazy and plays lazy. I feel he is tentative since the injury. It's like he plays scared and doesn't want too much contact. At Ohio State he was reckless in a good way. Just flying around wrecking things and taking over the game. Throwing his body to reckless abandon. That guy seems totally gone. Looks like a paycheck and pretending now. It's sad to see. I hope he can put up 1 more good game. He was good against the Jaguars. I haven't seen that enthusiasm and effort since.
Yes he is scared, agree.

He needs Obi-Wan Kenobi to visit him

Use the Force Chase. Let Go. Let go of your feelings. They betray you.

Yeah, he won't make the millions next year if he doesn't tackle in this game. If he sacks Patrick, that's millions in the bank for him next year.

This is my thought as well. Maybe if he gets the SB, he just retires lol

But ya know, he needs to play well in this game cause, ya know, it's the Superbowl and ya know, kind of a big game and ya know, they gotta make, ya know, big time plays ya know and ya know, stuff like that that:) lol
I wouldn't resign him after seeing him play in our system. Especially if he wants big $, I can also see why Washington got rid of him. He's not the game changer I thought he would be. But then again Bosa hasn't looked like the world beater DPOY either so IDK.

I think we could get cheaper edge rushers in the draft and we could also use that money on B.A & Purdy; true home grown game changers/play makers.

I agree, but I think our defensive system is kind of lost this year between what it was and what Wilks is etc. Also I think the Wide 9 is a bit figured out and not as fresh now so changing that up may be beneficial? Which means Young may be fine with further adjustments and evolution of our defense.

Playing in a particular system most of the time makes it easier for today's sophisticated offenses to attack. The wide 9 leaves wide gaps so it seems teams are attacking it with the run. It's designed to give the DEs an angle so they can get to the QB easier but that's not happening as much as we would like. Bosa had a good game last week but there have been too many games with zero or one sack. This team should be near the top of the league in sacks.
It's interesting, everyone talking about his lack of effort and how he seems to be playing safe or scared. Yet he wasn't playing that way the first few weeks of the season with Washington. So he comes to a better team, a better situation that he is happy about - and puts forth less effort? He has 5 sacks with Washington in fewer games, and just 2 1/2 with us. So he got worse as he kept getting healthier from his injury? And people still don't think that Wilkes and his scheme have something to do with this...?

It seems like widening the front makes it a longer distance to get to the QB. I wish we'd mix it up a bit more.
MVP !! MVP !! MVP !!!!
IMO - This is a career making game for him.

Every team and DC's are watching it and he'll be under a magnifying glass.

He won't be able to hide his performance - at the end of the game,

He either has what it takes or he doesn't!
Turn up
Show up
From the first snap
thats all you need to do Chase.

Lots of people have sacked Mahommes. He needs 2, a couple hits, and lots of pressure.
Hands in Mahomes face all day.
Chase was made for this,
