Ummmmmmmmm. Ya this is a little different. He's the bookend to Bosa that we've needed. Now you'll put serious pressure with just four. If you watched the 2019 defense this is what we've needed.
Ferrell and Jackson are jags compared to Chase Young. Some people will realize that soon.
I'm shocked they haven't realized that yet especially Jackson I haven't even noticed he played since week 1
No kidding. I wouldn't have blinked an eye if we moved off him.

I guess they get a 2024 3rd rd pick instead of a 2025 3rd rd comp pick. And the comp pick would assume they don't sign a lot in free agency.

They wouldn't have gotten a comp pick at all since they didn't pick up his fifth year option. It was either trade him, or he walks for nothing.

I wish we could sign him long term but that's a pipe dream

Oh really? Wasn't aware of how that exactly worked. Thanks for the clarification.

What's his Madden rating? That's how I'll determine how excited I should be.

On KNBR with Pappa just now he was interviewing the Wash sports reporter on why Sweat got them a 2nd while Chase Young only a 3rd.
He said it wasn't well publicized but other teams knew that Young not only tore his ACL but also the Patellar tendon.
He did report in shape and quick this year, so supposedly fully recovered.

Cool but we have Bosa, Hargrave, Armstead, and Gregory and still have had little success. What's going to change?
