I'm shocked. Not sure how he will fit in long term but at the very least he's a rental. If he is a rental and we lose him to free agency, would we get a comp pick?

The 49ers' price of a third-round pick for Chase Young is extremely affordable. If they can't/don't re-sign Young, the 49ers might be in line to receive essentially that much as a compensatory pick.
