I hope they don't try and force him to start from a 3 point stance. I agree. Let him rush from the upright stance. Move him and Bosa back and forth from right to left. The tackles will need to adjust to the different stance each time.

Kocurek lets guys rush out of a 2-point stance if they prefer it. Dee Ford did it all the time. He simply encourages getting down since it's typically easier to generate more explosiveness.
Still can't believe we got him. Lots of chatter on the forum about this day possibly happening and happy it's finally here.

I like Gregory mixed in too. Either Jackson or Ferrell is going back or to inactive list.

What number will he wear?? #99 is currently All-Pro Javon Kinlaw's number.

I hope #8. If it's retired, unretire it.

I hope Lenoir gives Chase his #2. Lenoir doesn't deserve that #

One benefit of a 2-point stance is being able to see play action better.

Young has been good at setting the edge on running plays. Better vision post-snap will help with that.

#2 is what he wore in college. 0 is Womack. 1 is available I believe.

Yea, I think we need to see what adjustments wilks makes. otherwise, Chase won't matter much. Glad that Chase has some natural smarts about stopping the run and sniffing out delays.. We are wobbly there.
DC beat writer on MM's pod day said this was a big big win for SF. He was blown away that all they got was a comp 3rd.

he said he doesn't know if his knee will ever be right and long-term DC couldn't invest that much cash in him, but if SF wants him for just the rest of the season he's a stud and makes this team that much better

The only number I care about is how many sacks and pressures he gets. I couldn't care less what number he wears.
