No, he noted on X while he's barely a 1K receiver in a run centric offense and a #2-4 WR here, he'd basically be a 1,500 receiver and a #1 WR in a pass centric offense.

Unpopular opinion but this is reversed. It will be Deeb who is traded for a one plus. Brandon is a better route runner IMO. He's Brock's go to boy. Brandon plus CMC=Deeb in a sense. Brandon and Brock have had some really strong connections.

The wallet really starts to tighten next season. A one plus for Deeb. And don't get me wrong. Love Deeb and not a hater but he feels like an overpaid decoy/blocker at times. Brandon has stepped into the spotlight and to me the one to keep. I'm worried Trent is going to retire one way or the other after this year. We need to buy or draft highly some OL pieces. Deeb could be a casualty of need over luxury item.

Also Deebo is a captain and loved in the locker room. So yeah, I don't see that happening. Our offense hasn't been the same without him. Aiyuk is the better rout runner, but I cant say better overall. He has critical drops etc. Opponents fear Deebo way more than Aiyuk. However they are the perfect compliment to each other in this system so either being out hurts the other etc.

If Chase is 100% healthy and plays great... I would argue much easier to find production at WR than edge. Let's see.

Can not afford to lose Deebo, watching the offense while he's been out should have told you that. He brings things to the offense and forces defenses to do exactly what Kyle wants. When Deebo has been out, even the run game is suffering. We need both Deebo and Aiyuk.

Trading Deebo only saves $6M in 2024, their better off redoing his deal, as that's what I believe was the whole reason for a high 2024 base salary, lower 2025 base salary, saves over $15.8M, plus Deebo makes this offense go, along with CMC, that's lethal, no way Deebo is being traded. And BA isn't going anywhere.

Yes, but that'd be it, no chance at Jaylon Johnson, or very slim chance at Johnson. Not sure the 49ers want to pay a CB top 5 money. But yes Chase is possible, I don't think he gets what Sweat got, based on injury concerns, but if he stays healthy the entire way, and produces, then maybe we see Chase getting close to what Sweat got, but it means Gregory is cut, can't pay 3 EDGEs $14M+ a year.
