Lol nope non impact player

That's always fun, huh? Seriously though, did Chase just unlock our defense? I know the Jaguars aren't particularly good, but that was lubless penetration.

We must've also been playing better coverage schemes as there were not many of those back breaking quick hitters that negated the pass rush. I hope this is a turning of the page for Wilkes and the D. Chase and Bosa coming around the ends while Hargrave and Armstead collapse the middle? That's a recipe for success.

I also thought it was interesting that Lenoir was playing slot and Ambry on the outside. Aside from the PI, Ambry must've held his own because his name wasn't called much today.

Aiyuk gonna have to kick rocks so we can sign Young. HOLY

That's crazy...I'd rather trade Deebo and Keep Aiyuk.

Deebo isn't as good of a route runner as Ayuik but he's an absolute beast when he has the ball in his hands. Plus trading Deebo would be a big cap hit.

Chase looks genuinely happy here, I don't think its out of the realm of possibility to retain both Ayuik and Chase Young with some restructuring

He'd rather have overpaid mediocrity at tackle then elite d lineman.

I don't need to see any more. Extend him, Johnny Boy.
With Chase, hopefully we have something similar to what the Eagles had last year in the playoff game against us.

Still long ways to go, but so far, positive.

A lot less Kinlaw today, more Givens and the entire defense was swarming again and no missed tackles that I can remember.

If they can stop the run and get into pass rush situations, it's game over now. If we can't cover quickly and the QB gets it out under 2.5s, as we saw today, the pass rush won't matter (90 yard drive).

It he stays healthy, John's been trying to put this kind of DL together for 7 years. It would be hard not to do it.

"Good enough." LOL

They pretty much missed every tackle that wasnt from the front 7. Oliver sucks at coverage but he is a better tackler than any DB not named Huf or Ward, if they want to collect on his contract just make him a SS/LB hybrid and use him sparingly at the LOS.
I think we're all in agreement now that this was a good trade?

I hope that is the case. It could also be, unfortunately, that Lawrence is not Burrow or Cousins.

At least for the two years we have Brock on a theft contract.
Can we sign him now while he's cheaper?
