Honest question. Was there someone who didn't think this was a good trade?

"Good enough." LOL
Orlando Brown isn't. We agree.

But you know the point was never about a player to player comparison so you're just Hoov-trolling at this stage.

Aiyuk gonna have to kick rocks so we can sign Young. HOLY
That's crazy...I'd rather trade Deebo and Keep Aiyuk.
Deebo isn't as good of a route runner as Ayuik but he's an absolute beast when he has the ball in his hands. Plus trading Deebo would be a big cap hit.
Chase looks genuinely happy here, I don't think its out of the realm of possibility to retain both Ayuik and Chase Young with some restructuring
At least for the two years we have Brock on a theft contract.

Only reason why we have pro bowlers everywhere, by the time its Purdys turn to get paid Trent Williams will likely retire.
We also have Hufanga to pay but I imagine we let Gipson retire and put that towards signing Hufanga

Overpaying for need is never good. Unless you are a Ryan Pace fan.
Bosa was the same last game as this. Amazing what happens when coverage actually gives him a chance.

Gipson makes peanuts.
Huf might be priced out. We will see.

Yes, all the people that said this trade wouldn't matter becuase we still had Wilks

Only you can minimize a talent like Brown esp. when injured and he just shut Bosa out. How can one "overpay for a need" that's cost us over and over and is still costing us today? The bigger question you should be consumed with is why are they underpaying OL and the secondary. Because overpaying for a 3T that'll get 60% of the snaps hasn't won anyone a Superbowl...not even the historic Eagles pass rush. And not even the best 2019 DL we had that gave up 21 points in 5 minutes and couldn't close or make 1 stop.

He does keeping Hufanga, Ayuik, and Young is going to be challenging. Who do we restructure? Juszczyk, Warner, think we already restructured Armstead and Kittle
