so what about his med? What made other teams skittish?
He's an animal.

He's been injured less than Bosa....

He's missed more time in his pro career than Bosa though they suffered similar injuries with ACL tears. Timing obviously a factor.

Bosa also lost almost a full season in college because of an abdominal injury.

No doubt, that was why I isolated the pro portion of their career. Who cares about amateur football :)

didn't bosa hold off from playing due to him going to the NFL ?

I believe that decision followed a surgery.

Difference of opinion, and like someone said, timing matters. Young and even CMC last year get the "injury prone" label, when it's really been one injury with some complications. CMC played a LOT before ever getting injured, and that just got forgotten. For Young, he had the injury mid-season. So he missed the last half of one season, and the first half of the next. Which means he also missed training camp and all the offseason workouts. He was playing back into shape most of last year, and didn't really get fully healthy until the last few weeks before the trade. The number of snaps he's taken so far this season, should show his knee is holding up - I would think.

So he got a new body when he went to the NFL....? Injuries are injuries.

Lol, I'm just interested in what's relevant. Injuries from over a half decade ago in college probably not qualifying, especially when the player has won multiple awards as a pro, including one after a major injury.

There's no question Bosa has fully recovered from his major pro injury. There's been questions about Chase.

Go back to the original comment. Someone mentioned the injury prone label for Young. So yes, in that case, number of injuries is very relevant.

Conversations get expanded on. I wasn't arguing your point about who had more injuries. I was pointing out that one guy has unanswered questions at least partially as a result of his injuries and has missed more time as a pro. Injury prone wasn't my label.

I could be wrong but I feel like I remember him missing more than he had to because he didn't want to risk anything health wise going into the pros. Can't fault him for that but I feel like I remember him getting dinged for that media wise.

Yeah, he could've came back since it was a real early season injury but decided not to

I thought so. I remember him being put down about that. Honestly, my only question about him coming out was his health. Which kinda goes for everyone, because it can happen to anyone, but he did have an injury filled college career from what I remember.
Seems happy to be traded. A lot of guys are happy being out of Washington lol
