HOW special was he today? I personally thought he only had an average performance..
You don't like sacks and pressures on the QB? Because he had both today.

I believe he had one sack, and that was towards when the game was basically over.. I personally thought he played better against the Jagz..
Do you remember who that sack was against? Tristan Wirfs, who hadn't given up a sack all season up until that point according to the announcers. He also beat him pretty soundly on the sack.

Tristan has an ankle injury... glad to see Chasanator recorded a sack for us.. but really, he still NOT THERE yet..
His ankle injury wasn't significant enough to keep him out of the game. Maybe that is why Chase beat him so bad though.

Also, if he just goes on an absolute tear and is a monster, we basically have no chance of resigning him. 1.5 sacks I believe he has after the acquisition. If he keeps the pace up that he is currently at after 2 games, we probably still can't resign him.

I would rather he become GREAT here and WIN the Super Bowl even if he ends up signing w/another team.. rather than he becomes better than BOSA and for us to not win any Super Bowl the next 5 years of their careers..
This guy is finally experiencing winning football and having a ball doing it, in the NFL. He's not going anywhere. We will pay him a respectable amount and he wants to be here with his boy, Bosa. What a great tandem
Lmao looks like he has a dip in

He was going against Wirfs today, a top-tier ROT.

OF course he was... and that's why I posted that he only had an average day today...

Had a nice run stop. Like it. The sack was meaningful, it put the nail in the coffin like good teams are supposed to do.

That kind of sack was huge and sometbing we've missed, being able to close out games like this. The pass rush helped with browns INT too. Just cause Young isn't getting stat sheet numbers, his presence is felt. I love having him.

im a little surprised we don't have more sets where Bosa, Young, and Gregory are rushing.
Dude is a monster. Even going against the great Tristian Wirfs he commanded a double team at some points of the game which is showing respect for who he is. I do not think he is going anywhere but he sure is not going g to be taking some hand me down salary either. Some guys will have to be traded or let go, but Young and Bosa will be together a long time.

Well the question now becomes, when and what do we pay Huf? Now he's going into his contract yesr coming off an ACL tear. Instead Of paying him big money this off season.

I think you need to take the wait and see approach with Huf now. Is he still as fast on the field as he once was when he fully recovers.

I agree, I think that's all we really can do. Paying him a bunch would be stupid without knowing how he can recover.

maybe we give huff a one or two year extension with a nice pay raise and let him prove it? He gets a nice bump and some security and we get a way to protect ourselves.
