he's like a step or two from getting to the QB. Kinda where Bosa was early in the season. I think the sacks will eventually come in bunches for him, he's still trying to find his game. No doubt his impact has been felt since he joined already just with the pressures and against the run.

I honestly don't think many fans are appreciated what Chase is doing. I'm watching him and man he is impressive. I have assume that Chase Young is buying into the role that the defensive line coach and Steve Wilks has him doing. We have seen it before when Justin "Cowboy" Smith was intentionally taking on 2 blockers to allow Aldo Smith to have 1 on 1 match ups and do stunts to sack the QB. When Wilks has Young and Bosa inside with Hargrave and Armstead outside, Young takes the center and guard that is front of Bosa allowing him to loop around barely getting touched by the confused lineman. If the blocker picks up Bosa, then either Armstead or Hargrave gets release to have a cleaner shot at the QB. Young is just a beast and with a line that features All Pros like Hargrave, Bosa, and Armstead, he still gets double teams wherever he lines up.
The conspiracy theory is Lynch and Shanahan holding his snap count down so he can't rack up to many sacks to keep his asking price down, lol.

Haha reminds me of how the cowboy used to hook the lineman so Aldon could sneak around him! Never got called by the refs

Does his familiarity playing vs Philly's tackles come in handy this game? I think Chase normally lined up vs Johnson, and its still up in the air as to whether or not he plays, but hoping that may be a small advantage.

I think he will be a land a 2-3 year contract that pays somewhere between like $17-21M - with a lot of it being incentive base. Not much guarantee because of his health.
(This is purely my opinion) - I think the most anyone will offer him is like $20-22M a year but with a lot of non guaranteed money. So when I say I think he will take less to be here - I could see him taking like $17-$18M a year here (with potential incentives like pro bowl etc) on a two - three contract. Making him a free agent at like 27-28 years old to sign a mega deal.
Here is the best place to prove himself and win. So if he signed a 2-3 year contract at that range, it'll set him up best to get a massive payday in 2-3 years.
instead Of takin $22M with a team like the packers or giants , who are a disaster and suck.
That's what I mean by young taking a "haircut" to be here and why I'm disagreeing with the idea that he will go wherever he gets paid the most. I could be wrong, who knows, but that's what I'm tryin to say.
Don't mess with his lovely locks lol

Yeah because Chase Young is snatching up guards and tackles let other guys get sacks and he is completely fine with that. Never knew he was such a team player which speaks to how our team plays for each other. It will be interesting to see when Wilks will cut him loose to seek his own prey again. Right what they are doing is working.
