I think unless there are health concerns it's a no brainer to keep him. Very talented and perfect complement opposite bosa.

A lot can change depending on how he performs in the playoffs. I wonder if he'd take a one year prove it deal to increase his value as a 2025 free agent.

Yeah, he shouldn't have much bargaining power and he's happy here. I wonder what a fair deal would look like with his modest production and injury history.

im kinda tired of watching other nfl teams with no superstars getting hella sacks. we had a good run going when AA was playing but now it just seems pressures is all we get

He's going to be on of the highest paid free agents at DE, because of his age and draft position. Not that I agree, but i'm sure some GM will throw money at him, and thankfully it won't be ours. SF ain't exactly flush with cash, and I think they'd rather that money go to Banks and Aiyuk. Lynch will find a cheaper edge who will match or exceed Young's production, like he did with Key and Ebukam and Omenihu.

I'll believe it when I see it. He was just traded for an end of round 3rd round pick. You see how Sweat was viewed differently. A bad team took a chance and traded a high 2nd for him and then paid him. A plan like that could have easily landed Chase.
He either sets the world on fire in the playoffs or he'll probably be viewed as a rotational player with some upside and an injury history.

Yea I posted the same thing a couple weeks ago, but this dude is just meh. There is absolutely ZERO explosiveness. I wouldn't give this dude any significant money.
