Good signing, I love that they signed a proven veteran and not some undrafted rookie free agent.

I have turned the corner on John Lynch, I think he's definitely a top 5 GM in the NFL!!!!

Laken Tomlinson
Jimmy G
Richard Sherman
Emanuel Sanders
Trent Williams
CMC
Chase Young

I know Kyle Shanahan had heavy influence on these trades but Lynch pulled it off!!!

Bad ass 49ers front office!!!

Omenihu was my favorite besides the big names tbh. He's been great for the Chiefs this season too.

Dammit he was pretty important too!!! Yah I knew I missed one!

Needs to play lots of snaps the last 5 weeks to assure the 9ers another 5th.

Hmmm. They really didn't like the missed tackles during the Eagles game.

I hope Tig Brown doesnt lose his starting spot right now though

I hope he doesn't lose his spot either, but he can't tackle like Huf and expect to take guys down without using his arms and hands to wrap up.

I think Tig should be fine. I think he needs to play. I'm sure Ryan was signed because we are thin depth wise at Safety. Maybe after he gets the system down he can rotate in at times the way Jayir did earlier in the season. Outside of that it's probably a depth and special teams signing.
Ryan's a proven DB...and it's always good to add a Super Bowl winner to your team. Love this signing.
And the next incoming? Zach Ertz? Cleared waivers. Ross D not feeling well..

John still spinning the phones I bet..

49ers were extremely thin at safety before this signing with Oliver being the only depth safety player with experience on the 53, and even then he's a CB. Erik Harris and Taylor Hawkins were the two PS players - one is a journeyman and the other a youngbuck. A huge part of playing safety is familiarity with offenses and Logan Ryan provides that. 31 isn't too bad an age for safety in terms of having lost a step.

He's been a CB but now identifies as a safety.

How does that work? How many snaps does he need?

The last piece…he'd help to gameplan against Arizona coming up, too
Looks like a long time starter at a position of need for us. You wouldn't start that long across the NFL in different places if you weren't any good. He's a pretty decent athlete too. A very good signing. Hope he can help our depth at Safety. Can help on special teams a little too.

They got Fred Warner in the 3rd round.
Excellent pick-up!

Hasn't missed a ST's tackle in 699 snaps and could also add to mentoring Tig.
