He's been a very solid safety and was a solid corner as well. This is a good signing

This kind of reminds me of the Carlos Rodgers signing. Same type of experience to shore up the secondary.

Reminds me more of the Gipson signing last year.
Carlos Rogers when signed by the Niners was an outside corner who was still starting and sought after on the market.

Ryan like Gipson is someone who was out of a job and on the brink of retirement.

I expect him to get some looks.

There will be a lot of openings and not many quality options available (I mean like obvious HC that people will be going crazy for). So I woukdnt be surprised if we lose a couple guys to HC jobs.

Well we've lost two safeties, not just huff. So we needed to go out and sign a quality vet who was versatile. Especially for special teams.
