Thought it made alot of sense. Behind a good D line. Next to Warner. Huff coming back. Would have been in a position to look pretty good. Greenlaw coming back is no guarantee. Achilles is no joke. Not many guys ever come back from that. Might have 9-12 month recovery but takes another 6 months to get back to speed after that if ever. The football players who have been as good post Achilles tear as pre is very very short.

I liked Winters coming out a lot. Others really liked Graham (including Scott McClougan iirc). I would love to see them out there. But the fact that we quickly went after a vet LB tells me they aren't ready. I get it. Kendricks will be the LB1 in that pathetic LB group, but is that more important than chasing a ring and being the starting #2 for a good part of the year if not all of it? I mean the money could not have been that different so I guess so. I'm still pissed.
