This is wild, how big is his head to think he'll leapfrog Dre considering his poor play. This year's team has the disease me me all written all over it, I can't remember when the niners had this much disfunction in the lockeroom.

Lynch better man up and act like a managing executive he is paid to be and suspend this guy with no pay for rest of reason.

just cut his butt, tonight
John Lynch and the entire 49ers front office should be embarrassed of themselves for signing this POS #1 and then allowing him to hold them hostage at LB 2 all year long. Terrible by this front office.
Cut him another team might pick him up. Punish his arse with zero pay. Season is over anyways to think of another roster spot.

I mean.... let them pick him up at their own detriment. Who cares?

How do you propose not paying him?

This is a retarded take. A FO can't know what's in every players character/ethic. One assumes players are going to play where and when asked to do so once they signed the contract to be a player on the team.

Cause he broke the contract? We signed him and committed to paying for him in exchange for his play on the field. If he refuses then he's broken the contract voluntarily. If he's not fulfilling his end the team doesn't have to either.

Not worth the fight with the NFLPA that would follow. Just release him and say good riddance.
Singletary would have made a mockery out of him and blacklisted him from the entire league; I can't remember a healthy and sucky player refusing to play during a playoff hunt. A "backup" refusing to play when you know Dre will have limited minutes.

I am glad Kittle is calling him out.

That's not how it works. We cut him or pay him.

Not a "retarded" take at all. Such a low life word, too.

He had problems on his last team. Aging mercs are always gambles.

They have no reason to buy into your culture. They just wanna get paid

LOL, are you serious? This guy threw the entire Falcons and Packers coaching staff under the bus after he left both places. Do some background on the guy.
Makes you wonder what the hell is wrong with him? Can an adult really be that butt hurt? To a legit ALL PRO? Something else has to be up. Didn't want to play through an injury? Worried about being ready next year for a different team?

The thing that stings most is this was a knee jerk signing after Kendrick's backed out. Small parasites can taint your team.
