I have to think that if we had a linebacker in there instead of one handed HUF at LB, we might have slowed down some of those runs in the end in a 12-6 game. And Acho asks an interesting question. Did Cambell PLAN to sabotage this team?

Absolutely spot on. Campbell is a real piece of s**t. I hope the Niners can figure out a way to suspend him without pay but not release him so he doesn't even have the opportunity to catch on with some other playoff team. Not that anybody would want him, but you never know.

I don't think he planned to sabotage team, it's just that he's an immature idiot who doesn't care about anyone but himself. This isn't the first team he's burned bridges with.

If he had been playing at an All-Pro level this season and got benched, I'd be a bit more sympathetic towards him.

However, he's been the weakest link at linebacker at season and we'd probably have similar defensive stats with Graham or Winters starting instead of him, or just lining up 10 players.

I just listened to Kyle's morning presser. He said there discussing the best way to handle this so I assume he means financially as well as league rules. He said he hasn't had any contct with Campbell at all.

Fine him the totality of the game check, then suspend him for the rest of the season without pay or terminate the contract for cause (at no cost).

I remember him jogging off the field last when niners got the 12 man penalty. Not sure but it does seem deliberate.

Here is what he tweeted on December 4th.

"No matter what you do in life people are gonna have an opinion about you so you might as well just do it your own way and live with the results," Campbell tweeted on Dec. 4.

I'm sure that's what they want to do but they need to make sure they don't violate some rule in the players agreement or some league rule.
